It is a know fact that writing articles yourself is much better than copying articles from other websites. Writing your own articles gives your website fresh content that nobody has written before.

There might be similar articles on the same subject but the content will be different. Search Engines love fresh content and everyone that has a website should use fresh content.

Anyone can write an article. Write until you have 50 articles and then you can make a better judgment call about the worthiness of article writing.

My challenge to you is to write more articles. When I first read about writing my own articles, I thought no chance of doing that but look at me now. I just write about what I know is true.

I find that the articles I write and publish are more effective at pulling subscribers than any other form of traffic generation I have used - and I have about 15 different sources of traffic that feed to around 55 web pages.

Content

Here are some things I've learned about both content formats that might help you write better articles for both web publishers and for your websites. While writing content for the web and writing content for print publications is not exactly the same, there is some overlap. Write fresh informative original content yourself. This will attract more visitors to your site because your giving your audience what they want interesting content.

Even if the content is for SEO purposes only, a person will quickly press the back button if they discover they’re looking at useless information…or even that the writing is difficult to follow. This means that your content should have ALL of the components of a great article. Website publishers want to provide quality content and look for articles which will entertain the visitors. Your content has to be eye catching to the audience.

Make Sure you constantly change the content and add it to your website. Writing good informational content is the rule here. New sites are always on the lookout for quality fresh content and many of these webmasters are likely to look on the best article directories to find it. Writing articles is fun and easier than you think.

Link

This will help you to increase link popularity in Search Engines. As well as offering relevant and intriguing content, your article should always include a short sentence about your business, what it does, and (most importantly) a link to your site. Who killed Link Building?

You might try including a link casually within your conversation which will actually be a link to your website. But on every article that you write, you have a link back to your website – so in a way they are promoting your website in exchange for you allowing them to post their article on their site.

Directories

Submitting your articles to numerous article directories and databases will gain you an almost immediate increase in traffic to whichever website you choose to advertise in your author’s resource box.
